Dogs must be AKC registered and the youth must have an AKC Junior Handler number. A one page form is required. AKC has waived the fees in support of 4H youth.
Dogs can be registered as Canine Partners/All American or Purebred Alternative listing using th 4H form. The number is used to track qualifying runs and title awards.
Dogs not already AKC registered can be registered as Canine Partner/ "All-American" or for a specific breed/PAL if they are spayed or neutered.
A PAL registration, as a specific breed, requires 3 pictures - each side and front. The dog must be spayed or neutered.
The Junior Handler number can be requested on the same form. The form must be submitted to AKC by a 4H leader.
1) Get the AKC numbers to enter the trial. It is free! - form is below - your 4H leader must submit it to AKC
2) Use the Junior Handler number and the AKC dog number to enter the trial. Write in the fee section: 4H youth and your County. Mail in your entry form.
3) You will receive an entry confirmation and closer to the trial, a final confirmation and exhibitor information.
